If I understand correctly it's a start for a jailbreak for iPhone 3GS (N88AP). He inserted a custom command to iBoot, so he must've found a way to bypass sigchecks. Which is good news :).

I don't live in the US, but it seems there's a series called Entourage, and "I am Queens Boulevard" is the final series or something? and i read an article stating that the series will be released in around two weeks (the article was on 4 June).. can anybody enlighten us?
@dranfi: well tethered jb wouldn't be good for ppl that need to use their iPhones as a phone, but I am surely looking forward to bootrom dump.

I have been studying as much low-level code and exploitations as I can ever since GeoHot did the first 1.0.2 unlock. And still today, NO ONE compares to his mad skills. His code still makes no sense to me, and for that I applaud him :)

Jailbreaking is very sweet when you think about it, but just look at mine for a moment and see what you can do without jailbreaking it, more than we all thought!

Does this and the ECID mean that I should get a 3GS now?
Since I depend on a jailbreak for running custom apps, do I need to get an USB dump now to be able to use the jb later?
